Paradise Lost Progress....

the Quote (Milton: Paradise Lost) :

The first layer is the Periwinkle and almost complete.

The second layer is the light green, obviously just being started.

The background will have mostly darks so I am trying to keep it that way with just a few dark colors in the layers.

Working more on the first of many illustrations. This one is very large ( 18 x 24 ) while most of the others will be small ( 5 x 7 ) and composed in a special sketchbook I've kept just for the paradise lost illustrations. There will be a few this large but only the parts of the book that jump out so much i feel the need to make them larger. :)

Making Progress

I am now working on the first layer of God's body. Trying to get the 'periwinkle' in so I can start on the background in general.

Started the new one.

The top will pretty much be the same layout but I wanted to have the type falling just like the angels. So thats the new idea..
